Accordingly to the agency's strategy aimed at strengthening the role of the communication underneath and to establish contact with national structures dealing with metrology especially the promoting the accomplishments of the agency and its future programs, the National Agency for Metrology organized a training session on metrological monitoring on packaged materials, the training session has been conducted by Mme Asma Jabbar Chief technician in the National Agency for Metrology from 11 up to March 13, 2014 in Tunis .

11 managers participated in the above mentioned training session from various industrial companies operating in the food industry, construction materials; the purpose of the course is to develop the ability to self-monitoring and continuous follow-up on packaged material in accordance with legal metrological controls legislative requirements in force.

Within the framework of cooperation between the countries of Maghreb , the General Director of the National Agency of Metrology Mr. El Fehem Jameleddine joined by Mr. Cherif Fekiri the Director of Legal Metrology participated in the 2nd Steering Committee of the cooperation project entitled Promotion of metrology in the Maghreb for the strengthening of international trade, and the 3rd General Assembly of North African Metrology  Network ' MAGMET, the meetings took place  from the 2nd of February to 6th in Algeria.
